I got this action when I purchase the bundle. It does not work like you describe it. The skin softening/airbrush layer is not a paint in, blurs the entire image, then I have to erase everything I don’t want. Is this how it is supposed to work or is my action faulty? I just ask cause your description sounds different. It is a great action, I use it alot, but they way mine works it seems like alot of extra work than the way you are describing it.
Hey Janet! GREAT comment… this reply is for anyone who had purchased the Boudoir Bundle (a year ago):: in order to make your action work like this, all you have to do is record one more step to the action after it runs. Once the action runs, you will have the layer mask that is “paint in detail” – simply select that layer mask (by clicking on it), then hit “CTL i” (or Apple i on a mac) – this will INVERT the layer mask. If you do that, you’ll have exactly what we describe here… a mask where you paint the airbrushing ON the skin. When we first created this action over a year ago, we thought we had it down, but recently we made that adjustment. It’s much easier to add airbrushing JUST to the places we want it (mainly the cheekbones and forehead, just to add a little touch or softening to the skin). Hope this helps! If you have any problems with creating the inverted layer mask, email me: [email protected]! Thanks -Kimberlee
I love this action, I use it for almost every boudoir image 😉
