When it rains, it pours.
Over the last 2 and a half weeks, I’ve been to the Mac genius bar about 39 times. Ok, I exaggerate – BUT, the genius staff does recognize me now. Let’s just list out some of the issues: MacBook Pro crashes (fixable). Ipod dies (not fixable). Old laptop needs new memory (fixable). Old laptop won’t hook up to printer (not fixable). Old laptop won’t hook up to imaging monitor (possibly fixable). Old laptop won’t let me publish the Posebook video. Waiting for MacBook Pro to be fixed (on Monday, HOPEFULLY, fingers crossed)… so that I can recover the Posebook video, publish it, and send it off to all of you who are so very patiently waiting! It’s coming! In the meantime, pray for my sanity… I don’t think I can handle one more thing breaking down or crashing. I’ll keep you updated on Monday once I get my computer back from the Mac geniuses. Thanks! -K

I feel your pain. I too have now become a regular down at our local Mac Store. I never had had both my computers crashing at the same time – but this last month – during the insane crazy busy time of the season – it happened to me. Soooo frustrating! Best of luck to you and thanks for the update!
Ahhhh! One of those days where you want to break a door off the hinges…or kick a hole in the wall? BOTH of which I’ve done… (Gosh I hope I’m not alone…) hahaha… It sounds like it is TIME to take a break…whether you have TIME for one or not.. (i mean..lets face it…we kind of really never HAVE time for a break…we have to MAKE time for one)…so do ittt! 🙂 Go hang out at the beach, go shopping, just get outta the office/house 😉
I read this post today, after I spent about four hours at my apple store…I had to laugh! (The diagnosis was that my computer was dead) If I could offer one piece of advice…backup! Ahh technology is great as long as its working, you have everything backed up, and your product is under warranty! I sound like that “wear sunscreen” song:) Good luck!
AW…. I feel your pain. Nikon mirror won’t open & close correctly when I shoot over here! UGH!! I have to part with it for 3 weeks while it is going away for servicing!! This is painful… I hope all of your things are fixable and all is well now!
