Caribbean Boudoir Workshop 2011 Update….

By August 6, 2010Workshops

Wow. This is a dream!!! Honestly I never would have imagined that this would be coming together the way it is. So nothing is solidified yet, but since I am sure you all will need to mull over this decision for a few weeks, and since we will probably be opening up for registration in the next weeks, we wanted to give you an update so you could start; A. justifying it to yourself, which by the way we have to throw in that not only will you catapult your business completely to the next level ten times faster with this, but you will be able to completely write off a trip to Jamaica, B. start convincing your significant other, which by the way, kids and spouses are invited or C. confirm your “YES!” to yourself and start celebrating!

So here is are the loose, unconfirmed details (subject to change at this point): An incredible resort that I have had the privilege of staying at when I was younger.
It’s gorgeous, spacious, right on the beach and it has, uh, fifty one pools!!! We are hoping the workshop will be in a secluded villa that
looks like the one above. I can’t even fathom how incredible your images of the models are going to look!!!ย  Attendees will be required to stay on the resort. Our hope is to have 4 rooms available in the Villa for couples or for people who wouldn’t mind paying extra to have the whole space to themselves. Others can choose among other accommodations at resort.

The Boudoir Workshop will follow the same format as all of our others with very special perks and additions thrown in during the shooting portions of the workshop and an additional few hours of outdoor shooting. We will be launching more thorough info in a couple of weeks.

We are thinking the date of the Workshop will be the first week in May, 2011.

We are working through what our expenses will be but the cost of the workshop will be around $1200-$1400, not including accommodations which are looking like $700 per person for 5 days/4 nights at this incredible luxury resort, note that it isn’t an all inclusive resort.
As a reference, airfare to Jamaica from San Diego is looking like $500 per person. So all in all this workshop will be quite a bit cheaper than our previous Paris workshops consideringย  airfare, lodging and the price of food in Europe.

Yay!!! So, what do you all think? Are you interested?

xoxo- Marissa & Kimberlee

Please don’t make the workshop the first week in May… please! I’ve been dying to make it to a workshop, but they are always at the worst times for me! My husband and I are already committed to teach at Texas School during this time, and it’s crazy busy wedding season for us. Okay, that’s all… please!

  • Wow this looks amazing! It’s a bit out of my price range ๐Ÿ™ But if I keep booking boudoir shoots the way I am I will be able to attend with you lovely ladies next year!

  • Amanda MH says:

From Toronto we can make it an all-inclusive option. It’s a little out of my price range as well, but I might consider staying at one of the other all-inclusives around that part of Montego Bay.

The whole workshop/trip sounds amazing. I am going to try to scrounge up the money to go as well.

  • this can be the “how the divas got their groove back” workshop ๐Ÿ˜‰ ha ha…I am SO there! Count me in 100%! (ps. i sent my info in to be on your “list” in Austin, Texas, should I have heard something back by now?)

  • Kim says:

Yep. Way out of my price range to. Wish I could, but no way I can pull those prices off on my midwest wages.

  • Divas says:

Hi Ladies. Aw I am so sorry to hear that. We chose the Caribbean for a few reasons but one of them being that it is quite a bit cheaper than Paris. And remember it is about $175 per night to stay at an incredible resort! We were able to get a killer deal on this property. We hope you are able to come!

  • um, hello, amazing.

  • Jennifer T says:

It would SO awesome if you guys were there the same time as me so I could come say hi!! I’ve been to Jamaica twice now and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Ladies, this will definitely be an amazing workshop and COMPLETELY worth it. Not only are the Divas AH-mazing, but Jamaica is one of of my favorite places I have traveled!!! DO IT!

  • Aimee says:

If you do it, I am a POSITIVE yes! This sounds so amazing!!

  • Looks great! I think an all-inclusive option would be ideal though…just throwing that out there =) But otherwise seems to be a better price than Paris.

  • Karen Fowler says:

I will def bookmark this, and hope that I can swing it! I really wanted to go to Paris, but those bills, they just won’t pay themselves!

  • Brooke says:

I would give everything i have to attend this workshop

  • Brooke says:

  • Jen Le says:

Oh my GOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! WAY cheaper than Paris {even though if I had it, I’d spend any amount to go there haha} and since you guys announced this NOW, it will be WAY easier to attend this one. I’m thinking you’re going to sell out in like, ONE day. Will there be 2 back to back workshops? If not, how many people will be able to attend? I’m going to have to stalk this page and find all of this out immediately. ๐Ÿ˜€ YAY JAMAIICA! WOOOO!
