We just threw together a little teaser of Miss A – from her shoot yesterday here at the San Diego studio! This is actually the sister of one of our FAVORITE models that we’ve worked with in the past… and this shoot was part of an all day PIN-UP PARTY! These parties are SOOO much fun; we are doing more and more of them, and we just love them. Thank you, A, for allowing us to use your images/video here!
For our famous shoot with [b]ecker, we knew we wanted to have some dramatic looks… which is why we brought on the fabulous Catherine (Makeup by Catherine)! She is so wonderful. We’ve worked with her before, with some other shoots, and we always love the way she adds drama with her mad makeup skills. Yes, I just said mad makeup skills. 😉 Seriously, we love Catherine – and if you’re in the Socal area, looking for a makeup artist, definitely look her up!

The dates for the SD boudoir workshop were just announced! (Nov. 10-12!) We’ll be posting all of the specific details – and other info – and opening registration – SOON! (Don’t forget… we’ll be giving the FIRST 8 peeps $100 off their workshop fee… so you’ll want to sign up asap). More on that soon, but in the meantime, I wanted to start talking about the various aspects of The Boudoir Workshop in San Diego. And first things first: The Divas’ Cocktail Party! This is the official opener of the workshop, where we all get together to meet each other and give little introductions. This is also your chance to take a tour of the San Diego studio (something special for the SD workshop… won’t be able to do this at the Vegas or Paris workshops, obviously!) 🙂 You’ll be getting a behind-the-scenes insider’s tour of this 4500 square-foot beauty, seeing where the Divas work on a daily basis. We’ll also be having wine, desserts, and just hanging out & chatting! This is the time where we’ll hear what you’re expecting to get out of the next few days, and we’ll give you a little background on who we are and what our goals are for the boudoir workshop. M & I always love this evening… it’s just a laid-back night to hang out and get to know everyone a little bit. We’re SOOO looking forward to the San Diego boudoir workshop in November… and we can’t wait to meet those of you who will be joining us! Be sure to check in w/ the blog later this week for info on registration!!!
Whenever we fly on a plane together (which has been quite often in the past year as we’ve been traveling for workshops & speaking engagements)… Marissa has to go through this whole routine when she gets on the plane. She feels a whole lot more settled once she has everything in its place. And it makes me laugh every time. 🙂 I promised that I would capture this process on film, so… here you go!
