Holy Moly. We are getting closer to our workshop in San Diego. And after all the inspiration here in Paris we are going to be fired up! We aren’t too sure yet, but this may be our last San Diego workshop for the year so register before it is too late! The total is $1100, and we are currently taking a $550 deposit. We’re here! I can’t believe it. After months and months of planning… the day has finally arrived. After an adventure-filled 15 hours of travel, we made it to this amazing city at 6:30 this morning! In an attempt to beat jet lag, we hit the ground running, and we’ve had a very full day already. We checked in to our fab “Diva Flat” (where we’ll be holding the workshop)… then went out to explore Paris! We had a delicious lunch at a sidewalk cafe (where we enjoyed basking in the sunshine!), then we headed out for some sight-seeing. Here’s where we went today: The Gardens of Luxembourg (just down the street from our flat), The Pantheon, and Notre Dame. I caught my first glimpse of the Eiffel Tower, and it was a magical moment. This is my (Kimberlee) first time to Paris, and I am already 100% head-over heals smitten with this city. All of our workshop attendees arrive tomorrow, then the workshop kicks off on Wednesday with a full day of shooting here in the Diva Flat. I can already tell this is going to be a week we will never forget. We’ll be updating the blog as often as possible, so be sure to check back for the Divas’ Paris adventures!

Hi ladies! I know we’ve received a few emails from some of you this week – I apologize that I haven’t had time to respond to each of you individually, but I’ve just sent out a few emails to ALL of you – letting you know some of the final details (addresses, how to get to the flats, check-in times, meal information, etc). Please review all of the information thoroughly, and then if you have ANY questions at all, please let me know ASAP – so that I can respond to you in the next few days before we jump on the plane (Sunday!). Can’t believe it’s finally here – but SOOO excited! Woo-hoo! Paris, here we come! 🙂
I cannot tell you how much I love this blog, and as our time in Paris get even closer, I become more and more in love with it. I feel like this blogger is in tune with everything I enjoy. Thank you The Paris Apartment for the unending inspiration for boudoir photography and life in general. -M
We are SOOO excited about this!!! Seriously; we can’t wait to launch our shop (it’ll be launched either tomorrow or Friday). We have just a couple new products that we’ll be selling at the shop – mainly focused on MARKETING! We’ve taken a lot of your feedback and tried to create some materials that will be helpful for your boudoir business. Gosh, I am just loving putting movies together. Even though the quality isn’t great on this one, it was still fun. 🙂 Good news… Marissa is bringing her new Mark II w/ us to Paris! So that means better quality videos from the City of Light! Can’t wait. Oh, and also, we’re getting an exclusive tutorial on how to use the Mark II tomorrow from the famous Bui Brothers. We’ll be recording our ichat, so be sure to check back to see their tips and tricks to using this baby. (Thanks for agreeing to give us a tutorial, guys!)
