We had such a great time shooting at the KISS house in Vegas last year. We really felt like we were able to show everyone exactly how we created our boudoir images. This year we have even more planned. Our “looks” and lighting have been analyzed and we are excited to bring a little more “umph” to the demo.

The past few weeks, I have been working my poor little MacBook Pro to near-exhaustion. And over the past few days, he has finally started to give up on me. I’m not one to cry over silly things, but last night, as Marissa called me to check up on the status of our projects for Vegas, I started crying out of frustration. I was supposed to be finishing up some revisions for our new edition of our book (same book, just a few minor changes – details to come soon…), and it was literally taking a minute & a half just to open ONE simple PSD 8.5×11 file. Then another two minutes to run a simple action. Then another minute or two to save. Mr. M has never been this slow. And with SOOO many things on my to-do list, and none of them getting accomplished because of this crazy time-killer, I was just a little worn out and frustrated after 8+ hours of waiting on this poor little guy. At one point, I grabbed my point & shoot to show Marissa why I started to cry on the phone. Oh, the frustration of it all!

Update: all is well. Our new books have been ordered. Our brand new [top secret] product is arriving on our doorstep this week, in time to be launched at WPPI. You all know that I just love Walt Disney. I love him like he was my own Grandpa. Which, I am very lucky to say that, my real grandfather’s character and creativity resembled Walt Disney in so many ways. I wanted to share one of my all time favorite Walt quotes…. “I dream, I test my dream against my beliefs, I dare to take risks, and I execute my vision to make those dreams come true.” I have never come across another business quote that sounded so, well, magical. 🙂 Thanks for inspiring us all Walt! – M
Woman Captured had a pin-up party last week for 10 ladies. To say it was completely chaotic would be an understatement,10 shoots and 10 viewings all in one day. But we did it and almost every girl purchased an album! Pretty exciting. I can’t wait till our next one. I love the energy it brings to the studio. Here is a couple of the images of the birthday girl Vina. Happy V-day! No way do you look 30th!!!! We hope we can all be so lucky!
Recently we have had a few phone calls and emails regarding The Bundle. Some of you have told us that you are not buying The Bundle because you figure our new top secret product will probably be waaaay better. We just wanted to clarify that while our super top secret, [taking a ridiculous time to create], hip new product is totally fantabulous, it is actually completely different and in no way resembles our Bundle. With that said… if you don’t have the Bundle yet, please purchase it before it is discontinued. There is so MUCH stuff included in the Bundle, such as album templates, actions, designer pdf’s for your clients, email templates, etc. If you totaled the hours Kimee and I spent creating each item that our studio now uses on a regular basis it would have to be over 100+ hours. 100+ hours of design and marketing time for Just $335 (Or $170 to upgrade, if you already have the book!) Feb 9th will be the last day to get it!!! Once it has been discontinued, we WILL offer a few of the items separately (for example, our “Perfect Boudoir” Action).
