Let me preface this by saying that the site is still under construction. 🙂 Please be patient with us as we continue to work on it a little at a time over the next few weeks. With WPPI coming up, we’re working like mad to get everything ready for the workshop, KISS demo shoot, our tradeshow booth… and the launch our brand new product! That’s right… Debi & her daughter Amanda are the 2 lucky ladies who just took the last seats for our Vegas workshop! We’ve capped the attendance at 14 people, and we can’t go over that – because we’re shooting in small spaces (hotel rooms!) If you’re interested in seeing us shoot a boudoir session in Vegas, we still have a couple spots left for our KISS demo shoot on Valentine’s Day! We’ve also got a fun mini-workshop set for early MARCH in DALLAS! Details will be sent out this week…

Oh man, ok… just thought of ONE more thing we’ll be announcing this week: Our mini-workshop (1-day event) in DALLAS TX!!! We’ve had quite a few people email about this possibility, so we’re going to go for it! It’s going to be a Saturday, all-day event focused on shooting & processing. We’ll get more details out there soon!

I made this little video for our DWF presentation, so that we could share a glimpse of Marissa’s beautiful baby… she & Weston and the rest of the staff at WC have worked incredibly hard on this place, and it is just such a gorgeous studio. At our Vegas workshop we’ll be giving a ‘virtual tour’ of the studio, with some longer video footage, so that our attendees will be able to see all the details and the whole layout of this 4500 sq-foot studio. ***Note about the video & studio… we are not showing this to say that everyone needs a 4500 sq-ft studio to shoot boudoir. You can be JUST as successful doing it other ways. For example, shooting boudoir marathons at hotels. In our book, we explain how we used a garage studio with very simple sets & easy lighting set-ups… and we made it work for our business. There are different ways of doing it; find what works for you!

One thing you must know about the two of us. We love to dance. This is a serious love. Like big-time, all-for-fun, not-caring-what-we look-like, don’t-leave-the-dance floor til they shut-it-down- kind of LOVE. Thankfully we have some friends who also love it as much as we do. We had so much fun hanging out with these guys… Shaun Austin, Kevin Swan, Nathan Holritz, & our wonderful friend Candice. Can’t wait for WPPI next month. If anyone is up for dancing, just let us know – we’ll be there. 🙂

In our past presentations, we received a lot of feedback from people stating that the posing section of our talk was the most valuable. The title of our workshops… and the title of our speaking presentations…
We are just oh-so-excited to see that in a very short time, boudoir has finally started to make a very cool comeback! Over the past year, more and more photographers have started offering boudoir. More and more vendors are starting to create products & marketing programs that focus around boudoir. And boudoir is starting to get a fresh look. It’s just so exciting! 🙂
Also, while we’re talking about workshops & such… it looks like we may throw together a mini-workshop in the Dallas area, probably in March. I’m trying to gauge the interest to see what location we’ll want to hold the workshop at, so if you’d be interested in joining us for a 1-day workshop (full day, about 8 hours)… let me know!
