We are so excited about our boudoir editorial photo shoot! We had a REALLY fun photo shoot earlier this week, and it was just SO freakin’ amazing to PLAN a shoot with a specific vision… and then to have the opportunity to actually implement exactly what we had in mind. (Check out Marissa’s video in the blog post below, from earlier today, where she talks about the importance of doing these kinds of ‘just-for-fun’ editorial photo shoots). I (Marissa) was able to photograph this cool lady, New Yorker, Laura B. Laura is also a boudoir photographer and we met in Paris (wow that sounds so hip doesn’t it?!) at our Paris Boudoir Workshop. She is also a very gifted photographer and owns Rue Boudoir in New York and being the smart gal she is she wanted to make sure she knew exactly what her clients were experiencing in their boudoir shoot, so she flew all the way to sunny San Diego to see us and have her very own images taken! We were thrilled! Thanks Laura for giving us the honor of getting to know such a great lady as yourself. We know you will continue to be nothing but successful as your boudoir business flourishes and buy do we feel special that we have been a part of it.
Oh and thanks for letting us show the world your beauty Laura! Those green eyes still kill me. Wow!

Diane came into our boudoir studio for a “Full Photo Shoot” the other day and as many of our fab clients do, somewhere along the line upgraded to our Supermodel Package the day of her shoot. Go Diane! Her images came out so gorgeous and we love that she gave us permission to show them off as most of our clients do keep their images private. And since she was getting the supermodel package she will receive a “Supermodel Short Cinema” by none other than us of course! Since this is something new that we are offering here at THE BOUDOIR DIVAS Studio we wanted to share our “premiere” video with y’all. So here is Diane!… oh and a little bit of me in the beginning. We shoot this with the Canon MarkII and it is edited either in IMovie or Sony Vegas if on our PC. We know we have a lot father to come with video and audio but we are having a blast learning how to shoot video. As we always say, it’s better to be first than to be best!

I have been gabbing and gabbing about this hot new light that Weston made and surprised me with while Kimberlee n’ I were speaking in Chicago. I just did a shoot with it last week and I was able to use my light like crazy. I loooove it. I think it give such a “fashion” vibe while still providing the flattering soft light that is needed for boudoir photography. This is Tina, a FULL PHOTO SHOOT client that was kind enough to show off her beautiful face.

Kristen, Miss Rodeo Nebraska, flew all the way to San Diego to have a full photo shoot with me. I am beyond honored. At the WORKSHOPS we will be discussing how we book so many “top packages,” averaging ’bout $1900 per Full Photo Shoot after upgrades. We still have some spots left for the SD workshop in April!

Just got off the phone with Marissa, and guess what’s happening tomorrow morning?!? She is going to head into the Star 94.1 studio tomorrow to do a photo shoot for the 2 fabulous ladies of the Star 94.1 morning show, Laura and Delana! I can’t wait to see the shots of these beautiful gals… I just know it’s going to be a fun experience for everyone! Marissa, have tons of fun tomorrow; I can’t wait to hear all about it! And Laura & Delana… you are both beautiful gals, and you definitely should have made the top 50 list. Your photo shoot tomorrow will most certainly prove that fact!
