Hey everyone! We are SO incredibly excited about the 2010 PARIS BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP!!!! We’ll be announcing the dates on Friday (as well as opening up registration). Last year the Paris workshop sold-out VERY quickly, so this time, you will definitely want to register ASAP. This is a little video footage taken this week, on Thursday morning. Can’t yet tell you what it’s all about (top secret project). We’re still not 100% sure if it’s all going to work out, but if we decide to move forward… and then as soon as we are able to talk about it, we are going to be bouncing off the walls. Seriously, if this Top Secret project works out, we will be two super-ecstatic gals. 🙂

Hello Boudoir Divas!
I just have to say that even though I won’t see my pictures until tomorrow, I have been blown away by the experience. All of you gals that work in the studio are wonderful! You have given me confidence that I didn’t know I had. I have been raving about Marissa, the photography sets, the music playing, the champagne and oh yeah…feeling like a Super Model!!!
Even my mom said that she wished she could have done this when she was younger and I told her she could do it now if she wanted to! I changed my mind about my bachelorette party and want to do a Pin-Up party instead!! My experience was just that great.

My computers have been driving me batty the past week, I literally have gotten nothing done on them. Arg. Luckily, I have had a few photo shoots which has allowed me to divert my attention on to my true love, photography! Imagine that. For being a photographer I sure do spend a lot of time in front of my computer.
We’ve really been trying to step up our game in the studio and be fancy photographers who use even fancier lighting. Today I bought the Photogenic Minispot Spotlight (CL150FS) among many other things on Adorama. I think buying new equipment may just be the best thing ever. I have a lot of Full Shoots coming up (equivalent to a “grand” type package) and I love to try new things and really step up my game. I get bored doing the same thing every time. I plan to use the Spotlight to put flattering light on the face while creating contrasty light with my soft box on the body. We’ll see how it works! -M
We have wonderful news, as with May, our June outlook for boudoir once again has shown that it is a strong enough trend to ward off even this terrible economic down turn. The San Diego studio has reached our June goal of 20 shoots and the month hasn’t even begun! We are thrilled beyond measure and I have to thank the wonderful ladies (Divettes) who work so hard here. CRYSTAL, DEENA and AMANDA, you all rock! Boudoir photography, thank you for being so fabulous, we love you!

Based on your votes, we rocked our jumpsuits at the AZPPA convention! To be honest, even if everyone had voted that we shouldn’t match, I don’t know which one of us would have backed down on our outfit anyway. We would have had to duel I guess. This was one of my favorites from yesterday during our video shoot with our fabulous client/model, Krystal. Thank you SO much, Krystal, for working with us; we had a blast, and I am just LOVING all of these shots (I think it’s pretty much impossible for us to get a bad photo of you… you’re just gorgeous). 🙂 I can’t WAIT to launch this video add-on for the Posebook; this is something that MB & I are just oh-so-excited about!!! More photos from the shoot will be posted soon… and the Posebook video should be available for download (free when you purchase the Posebook) – within the next few weeks! Yay!
