We are SOOO excited to announce the world-premier of our Promo Video, filmed and produced by the fabulous Bui Brothers! Thanks, Lan & Vu, for making this happen. You guys are so incredibly talented, and so much fun to work with (and we love the way this video turned out!!!) The other amazing people we want to thank for making this happen: Amanda, our gorgeous model. Olga, a past workshop attendee and awesome photographer who said some very kind words about us… and finally, Weston (Marissa’s hubby), for all that he did during the filming, and for all that he does on a daily basis to help us out with this crazy Boudoir Divas venture. Haha, this is starting to sound like an acceptance speech at an awards ceremony. Seriously, though, we just want you all to know that we are very thankful for all your help in making this video happen. Thanks, everyone!

Upgrade, anyone?

Mystique Studio Testimonial

On our road trip back home from Santa Barbara, we took a little detour in Ventura and stopped in to see our friends Leanne and Brenda with Mystique Studio.  We met these ladies a while back when we spoke at CIPPA, and it was so much fun to see them while we were in SB, too.  They bought our boudoir book in April… then opened their studio’s doors in May, and now five months later, they are running a very successful, very cool boudoir studio!  These gals are so sweet – they let us stop by their studio with just an hour’s notice (it was a last-minute thought as we were leaving SB)… and then they even greeted us at their studio with a glass of wine!  It was just SO awesome to see how they have implemented some of the things they learned from us and our business model [which we share in our book].  We definitely love getting emails from those of you who have purchased our book, but this was even better, because we had the opportunity to actually see and hear first-hand how these ladies are doing!  Also, check out their blog for a sweet post! Thanks, Leanne & Brenda, for letting us come to chat with you about your business and our book.  You’re awesome!

Pin-Up Parties

We have always offered these types of parties for our clients, but it wasn’t until recently that we launched the marketing full force. I think that this type of party could be a full time biz all in it’s own if a photographer wanted to go in a focused direction. The Boudoir Divas join the “Race for the Cure”

Our studio has just joined the “Race For The Cure” in the fight to Knockout breast cancer. Woman Captured will be doing our best to earn money for the fight and we will be running (or walking as fast as we can) on November 1st in San Diego’s big, main event. But before that, tomorrow in fact, we will be in the Macy’s lingerie department helping them gain more attendence and raffling off a boudoir shoot.
