I know we said it was coming a few weeks ago… sorry for the delay! I never knew that setting up a shop would be so difficult. We probably should have had someone help us set it up, as I’ve never been a programmer before! 🙂 Marissa’s hubby Weston helped out a bit, and now we’re just putting on the finishing touches before we officially launch the shop. Thanks for your patience… it’s almost here!!! 🙂
Hi ladies! I know we’ve received a few emails from some of you this week – I apologize that I haven’t had time to respond to each of you individually, but I’ve just sent out a few emails to ALL of you – letting you know some of the final details (addresses, how to get to the flats, check-in times, meal information, etc). We are SOOO excited about this!!! Seriously; we can’t wait to launch our shop (it’ll be launched either tomorrow or Friday). We have just a couple new products that we’ll be selling at the shop – mainly focused on MARKETING! We’ve taken a lot of your feedback and tried to create some materials that will be helpful for your boudoir business. The thing I’m most excited about is the “Discussion” Board… a place where you can go to pose questions & discuss some of the questions that we’ve posed for you all. We really appreciate it whenever anyone takes the time to share feedback with us, and we figured this would be a great place to start some discussions about boudoir! So come on over and leave a note/opinion/though/question in the discussion area! 🙂
More details: workshop will start on the evening of the 28th. FULL DAYS of instruction on 29th & 30th (about 9:30am until 5:30pm). The 1st will be an optional add-on day of shooting. Some meals provided (breakfast/lunch on 29th & 30th, along with dinner on the 30th). Cost: $1100 To register: we’ll need to receive your 50% deposit ($550). First-come, first-serve. Only 20 spots available. This is probably the last workshop we’ll be offering in SAN DIEGO for 2009. The only chance for you to see our S.D. studio & shoot on our sets in studio. We are so proud to announce the newest Boudoir Divas book… Over 100 pages of inspiration and ideas for posing your clients! The most frequently asked questions we receive from photographers always relate to posing. (What are the most flattering poses for all body types? What do you do to get varying expressions? etc…) When you’re shooting a boudoir session, it’s inevitable that you might get a little stumped when it comes to posing – especially when your main goal is making your client feel comfortable. So, we’ve created The Posebook, which lists our favorite 30 poses, that will become your ‘go-to’ poses during your shoots. We usually use about 8-10 poses throughout a shoot, so this book is a great starting point for you!
