Narrowing down your images quickly is something that will come with time. Your time is so valuable, you don’t want to waste any unneeded time in front of your computer screen. We limit our images down quite a bit, and we do it VERY quickly! Our best advice: go with your instinct and only KEEP the best images. Label those ones… get rid of the rest.
Hey everyone! So first of all, we want to let you all know that we’ve decided to push-back the Santa Barbara workshop. We want to be sensitive to the devastation in DJ’s neighborhood, and we have also had many more inquiries for our Vegas workshop in Feb. Therefore, we’ve decided to postpone for now. [DJ, we can’t wait to come up there in 09! Also, know that our hearts and prayers go out to your neighbors who have lost so much this past week].
Ok, so now for Vegas info. We’ll be holding a full workshop there (2 days)… this will be exactly like our San Diego workshop, only cooler because it’s in Vegas! 😉 The dates: Thurs-Fri, Feb. 12-13… that’s right before WPPI week! Shooting with gorgeous models – studio lighting – shooting with only available/natural light – marketing – pricing – processing – selling – the ‘supermodel experience’ – posing – all of this packed into two full days! Then on Saturday, we’ll be doing our demo shoot again at the KISS house (not a workshop, but a demo shoot… we’ll be shooting and explaining what we’re doing; you’ll have the opportunity to shoot behind/around us). (*Note: those who have signed up for our workshop will have first-dibs on spots for the KISS demo shoot).
We’ve already had about 5 people ask to be on the list for this workshop… but we haven’t officially started taking registrations. We’ll start THIS WEEK, and you’ll be notified through our newsletter when you’re able to sign up. If you’re interested in joining us for our boudoir workshop in Vegas, make sure you’re on our newsletter list so you don’t miss out! We’ll see you in Vegas!

We are SOOO excited to announce the world-premier of our Promo Video, filmed and produced by the fabulous Bui Brothers! Thanks, Lan & Vu, for making this happen. You guys are so incredibly talented, and so much fun to work with (and we love the way this video turned out!!!) The other amazing people we want to thank for making this happen: Amanda, our gorgeous model. Olga, a past workshop attendee and awesome photographer who said some very kind words about us… and finally, Weston (Marissa’s hubby), for all that he did during the filming, and for all that he does on a daily basis to help us out with this crazy Boudoir Divas venture. Haha, this is starting to sound like an acceptance speech at an awards ceremony. Seriously, though, we just want you all to know that we are very thankful for all your help in making this video happen. Thanks, everyone!
We are getting so excited for Paris! We’ve officially booked our super-cute Paris flats for our attendees! This is more than just a workshop… it’s going to be an amazing experience of living with other photographers for five days. Sharing experiences, knowledge, learning from each other, encouraging each other, and having the time of our lives in the City of Light! Hi everyone! We’ve had quite a few emails asking about our next workshop… well, you better be signed up for our newsletter list, because we’ll be sending out the dates and info tomorrow! This workshop is going to be in Santa Barbara – held at the Freedom House of David Jay! It’s going to be all-inclusive, and you’ll have the chance to sleep over at the house with a dozen of your newest closest photographer friends. 😉 How awesome is that?! DJ has been SO incredibly gracious to us, opening up his home and allowing us to come up there to lead this workshop. We have so many ideas, and we can’t wait for this workshop! More details coming in the newsletter – so be sure you’re signed up! Only 15 spots will be available… and we’ll start taking registrations as SOON as the newsletter goes out… so if you want to join us, be sure to get in on this ASAP (it’s probably going to sell-out pretty darn fast!)
