Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned. For the past two weeks we’ve been planning a SUPERfun photo shoot with models and crazy styling. We were planning on going to some unique outdoor locations, but when we woke up this morning we were more than just a little bit disappointed to find rain pouring outside! So we moved on to Plan B – which consisted of one hour running around, throwing together brand new outfits and working in the studio instead of on-location. It was still a rockin’ shoot, though, and we even got to spend the last 20 minutes outside when the rain cleared for a moment. We can’t wait to share some of the shots! Marissa and I just love our model shoots. It gives us a chance to play around with new lighting set-ups, and to just try out all kinds of different styling and posing. (We try and do one of these shoots every couple of months). Here’s what the lobby looked like when we brought in all of our different outfit ideas and accessories:
We also decided to take advantage of our ‘fun photo day’ by having Weston do a photo shoot for the two of us. SO much fun. Seriously, for two gals who usually hate being in front of the camera… we really had a good time. Thanks, Weston! And we also have to say a huge thank you to our fabulous makeup artist.
